My private piano lessons are available to students of all ages--to anyone who wants to learn. I am especially well-versed in teaching jazz and blues for the piano and can have students improvising right away. I am respectful of the distinctive ways in which every student learns and the styles of music they want to cover. I want to give them the creative freedom to experiment while still giving them the instruction they need to learn.
Additionally, I have been a professional keyboard player for over thirty years, performing in a wide variety of settings on both piano and synthesizer. I am adept at performing in bands, accompanying vocalists, and creating musical theater.
